This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Okay, so for some reason, i was in th emood for a really freakin blue wall.

and by fast, i mean this wall took me about 45 minutes.
so, be gentle lol
basically, i havn't read this manga, but i LOVE tha artwork. i've always been a fan of her art.
i really want to read it, but freakin newtype is too expensive for me to buy every month unless theres something i really wanna read in it. and more than one at that.
anyways, the scan was very blue. and so, i used blue for the background. theres nothing too special about this wall. i just wanted the whole background to seem really overpowering. almost more overpowering than the scan (which was easy since the scan is so far off to the right)
so, enjoy my burt of random simplicity.
or hate it. i don't care. comment either way lol.
but be CONSTRUCTIVE!

oh, and since there was a complaint on my last wall about the size, i always upload the 1280 size. for the full 1600, you'll hafta wait till i upload it to pixelated graffiti xD
My only real objection is the planet in the immediate background, which looks... wrong, somehow. The edge doesn't really look properly defined, I guess. Still, it looks wonderful. Another excellent wallpaper.
I like the character very much, but I think the background is just a bit TOO simple even for a simple picture. The character just looks so good sitting on his rock up in the clouds that I think you should have added just a little something more too the background - I'm not sure what though, mabye a ray of light, or a faded blown up picture of what could be going through his mind way up there - you know, like somebody he might be thinking of or something.

YOU ALWAYS MAKE GREAT WALLPAPERS! i've probably faved like 5 or more of your nicely done wallpapers! You have talent! I swear! Anyway, the wallpaper. the backround for the scan is very setting and suttle. The many shades of blue adds in to the text. I like the birds you've added,it's a movement to the whole wall! NICE JOB!

Wonderful. It's a really dreamy wall that you can just dream yourself into. I love the soothing colour and the clouds and I'm very impressed by the birds. It looks like they'll come alive any second.
Well, another wall by Kalico! it's just great! l like the overall colour and the background! the colour is give me a relaxation feel! and the mountain at the back of the wall is just awesome! anyway, nice works! waitinf for your next work!
