So I figured I'd step away from my grunge abstract style and try some environment creation. The background is a mix of stocks (mainly the left side) and brushwork (the right side and some of the fire). I made Motoko's eyes glow a bit to give her a sexier, deadlier appearance. XD

Actually, I have to give props to my friend on this one, who said that our beach vacation a few weeks ago "needed more action!" That comment kind of inspired me to do this sunset beach firefight theme. Also, my laptop tends to dull colors so if things are really bright for you I apologize - I desaturated it a bit to compensate, so I hope that helps. Thanks to the ladies and gents over at Pointless Vandalism for their support and suggestions. x)

Man, I love the motoko (scan,vector?), and I love the fire from the gun. But I don't realy dig the whole beach/sunset scene, espacialy because it doesn't look like she is standing on anything, but anyways those are small? details and I have to fav it, because the wall is just so clean and would look great on my computer.

The problem with thi wallpaper is some parts are little too dark compared to the other features. A darker background would have worked better with this scan. The size doen't fit my resolutions but your efforts shown a lot. Keep the work and effort up!

i still think the beach coulda used some real brushwork but all in all a really good job :D

I like the vector alot, and how the gun and hands look like their actually moving and firing away bullets xD A very neat effect ^-^ The stocks are blended well with one another, and the outcome is really pretty ^____^ Always have been a fan of sunsets ^^ And this is the first time I've seen it with fire xD It looks effective though :3

Hmm.. Good vector for sure, and the lighting is good. The pulse effect on the weapon discharge is also nicely done. For the rest of it though, I'm not too impressed really. The glowing ember fragments are not very well placed, and the background looks pretty bad as far as quality goes. It looks like you just took some stocks and messed with them a little, not much else. The glowing trail over her head? for that, it looks okay, just if that's supposed to trail after the sweep of her gun, it doesn't look like that's what it's done so much. Overall, it's still a fairly good wallpaper though I think.
