Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Basically, I recreated Franz Ferdianand's cover art from "Do You Want To".

Well, yeah... It may look simple but I think the colors are good. I sampled them from the cover art... and I had some trouble matching the colors, but it's done now so... Yay. I'll stop rambling. Just look at it. D:

Anyway, I really love the muted color scheme in this one, and the vector art is very cool and funky. The scan you chose is interesting too, and I like how you portrayed the entire wall overall.

i agree that she could have been a bit bigger, since the album cover is like that. but no real complaints from me since the album cover itself is very simple.
maybe make the windows smaller and add more like the cover, but thats about it :3

anyway, the wall is sweet, but you should've added a bigger array of windows and should've given her face that same texture from the album. That said, its awesome and kick ass, brings back memories from whe I used to listen to Franz. ;3

Its a nice idea of making a wallpaper such as this, but the whole wallpapers gives me the look of emptyness, although everything looks so perfect but i just feel, as if something is left out, it could have been alot better, anyway great work.

A marvelous play on Franz Ferdinand. Album and singles covers are so hard to pull off in anime wallpapers because the subjects that you use do always look way different from how you want them to look.
I love the vectoring and the colour scheme. Well done!
Finally a decent wallpaper of maho! thanks a ton. This wallpaper reminds me a lot of paradise kiss ... since that anime did have references to franz ferdinand as well
