As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
This is the first wallpaper I've made that I actually spent time on. I've made some other wallpapers too before this one which I'll try to upload. But anyway this wallpaper took me a good 4 or 5 hours to make. With a little help from tutorials from www.good-tutorials.com I was able to get it to look like it is now. By the way, the reason I chose that color of background is to make the character stand out from everything else.
Hmm, i'd have to agree, I like the wallpaper, everything is really nice... except for the text. The background is really good and the image of Ichigo is good too, its just the text seems to be off.
Nice pic of Ichigo! But I also agree with the others for the font is way to plain and small in my opinon. The backround is okay but maybe something that matches his outfit? I like it though! :)
Thanks for the comments. Since this is my first wallpaper I've made I have some stuff that I still need to learn. The text was just the text recommended in the Pro Text tutorial. Next time I'll try a different one.
What did you use as the background? as i'd like to increase the resolution to 1600x1200, since it doesn't look that great streched from its current size.
The wall looks cool , I like it :) The only thing is bothering me is the colour. Maybe if you choose another colour for the background ... I don't know ... anyway good work keep it up!

i love the back ground efects that kine plants grate.Very interesting concept, I like it a lot! The colors of orange and blue come out well against the gray-ish tone, so it looks very appealing! The backgound is nice and the image of Ichigo is really good too.
still this is a nice work
The text (and effects) don't suit the overall 'feel' of this wallpaper, of course this is just my opinion. Oh and a bit of advice whenever it comes time for the 'renders' grab yourself the clone tool to fix up any abnormalities like jpeg compression that just wont go away when using remove noise, etc.
