Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Ive loved this anime, it was one of those rare, emotional masterpiece.
Rei and Asuka are two of my fave characters from the anime so i decided to make a wall out of them two
heres the end product, i went for an abstract look because i thouhgt it would suit the wall and the mecha theme.
took me about 4 hours to make, hope you like it ^_^

though, i can say they still look pretty even when they are looking like that.. ^_^
the design are also in contrast.. the invinsible looking frames is very nicely done.. nice wallpaper! ^_^

Its an uber cool wall! Asuka and Rei ftw!! heh. I like the tech stuff as a border... but I would like a little bit less of it covering their faces :\ but they look sweet together. pretty good

That's really good! I love the expressions on both their faces...very fatal team indeed! I like the techy background goes great with the characters. I like the color you choose. The was you faced them was great...gives it a awesome feel. Overall great job!

I like all the colors and the border stuff you made this with. Haha, if only I had photoshop and some decnt skills... haha! Well I like the left sidea LITTLE better than the right. =P if you know what I mean, heh heh.

The design that has this wallpaper is seen very well.
The colors are very good also.
It more than i like your details that you used with the style of graffitis a surrounding of the carecters.

There faces really match the title.The clor is very coordinated.
Asuka and Rei always look good together.
The scan you chose was a really great idea..
I see you played around with the brushes and it still came out beautiful.

Definitely a cool wallpaper ^_^ I think the color scheme looks kinda early 90s late 80s or something? anyway, the patterning and such you used to make the border is really good, I just wish that those dots in the front weren't' so blurry looking. Still, awesome job, glad I got to see it :) +fav

the work well together, i think in the background are scans, too? can't really see cause the size is a bit small and it's a bit hidden if it is one. that tecnical sight thing is a nice idea, i'm not a big fan of that but here it works well.

The abstractness of this piece make sthe wallpaper somewhat diffrent from other wallpapers I've seen.Very nice choice of colours too! =)

I like it, beautiful, but maybe the original is better, don't you think? But in my opinon is very difficult make it better than the original wallpaper.

I really like this wallpaper. The colors on the border are a little bright but otherwise the transparency effects are wonderful. This one deserves a round of applause.

I haven't even seen this anime .........yet nice wall nice them i like how it goes dark then lighter from the middle to the outside and those mechanical lookalike things in the middle nice
