After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Anyways I was saving this upload for you-know-who, but I got rejected from another job today and felt depressed, and apparently when I feel depressed I upload walls. They were nice enough to offer me a (part-time) web position at the office though, so I'll probably pick that up while I start again from from square one looking for a full-time job.
Not much to say about this wall except I wanted Yuuko to look like she was partially submerged/emerging. I fell in love with the scan at first sight... the ruffles on her dress killed me though, I thought it looked like a hideous maid outfit. So I killed most of them when I vectored the outlines. Joys of selective vectoring :) Post-Illustrator work in PS with polygonal lasso, gradient tool and soft brush for the soft shading.

Wow! this is hot! I've been looking for new wallpapers that would catch my eye for a while, and finally I find something. And this beautiful wallpaper is done, yet again, by flyindreams. Much props! I love the scan and the dark blue background really sets the tone and brings out Yuko and her beautiful kimono. Btw, the crane and its small surrounding clouds is a beautiful bonus ^.^
Well, she doesn't look like she is emerging or drowning, but those circles looking very cool, and the wall just flows realy well, as in the scan matches the bg. Realy like it, it is easy to look at for a long time. Sorry you lost your full time job, and yes a fav

just one thing in this wall that bothers me a little, and that's the rather thick outline on yuuko. if the outlines were just a round thinner, I think it'll look more elegant.

Wow!! This is beautiful. I almost like the background and the additional images more than the core image itself. Her right arm looks really strange but it's probably just the kimono.
Wonderfully done. The background seems serene and tranquil, however Yuuko keeps it interesting and intriguing. The vetoring is pretty good as well. Well, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your walls. So keep up the great work! ^_^
