Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
This is my second wallpaper I ever made (the first got rejected ;_;) I visited Session-Zero and completely revamped this paper. Hope you enjoy it! The original image was drawn by me, from a reference page on Rurouni Kenshin volume 20.
Basically the idea is this: a paradox is a statement that sounds like it couldn't be true, but it is. Like, "Himura Kenshin is the Hitokiri Battosai, but he is also a peaceful pacifist rurouni." Sounds impossible but his existence is proof that this exists. The thing with the black and white is meant to personify Kenshin's conflicting personalities, but the only thing they have in common is the cursed scar on their faces. The red sakura on the inverted side represent wartime and violence(ever seen Harukanaru Toki no Naka?), and the pink sakura on the regular side represent beauty and peacefulness, like anyone who knows what sakura is knows.

It looks kind of odd but it's also very unique. It feels as if I'm looking at this wall in two different perspectives. Gave me a lot of thoughts as well. It looks very neat that you divided the two parts of the wall in a dark and light theme. Great work!

This wallpaper is very great, i like how the work has made by separating one side the black, the grey with the white and the other side with the reversed colours. It is an original work that I appreciate very much =)
You work really well! You use the kenshin most big dillema in the central idea about this wallie... i like! ^^ Also, this "negative" effect, on the left picture, fits really cool! ^^ Thanks for sharing!
