This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Okay so this idea just popped up randomly during work today. The funny thing is that I wasn't even thinking about Bleach or any other anime...yep just random. This is my second attempt at vectoring and I think I did a better job this time around. When I finished everything I thought it looked to plain so I used a texture over at DA! Anyway's just trying a different style like I always like to do. Hope you like it and comments would be appreciated 8D
I like this wallpaper. Really cool (pun intended). It's simple, and the color scheme works.
I would suggest:
1. don't just put snow in the lower left corner: put it everywhere OR put it inside the center box and behind Ichigo or something. Right now it is too isolated and arbitrary.
2. Play around with the designer snowflakes... maybe add more, maybe have them trail Ichigo... I dunno... they look pretty good where they are right now.
3. More shading on Ichigo. Like the bottom of his board, and maybe his pants a little... etc.
First off, lemme say nice vectoring, for your second attempt it's really good. And trust me everytime you vector you learn something new about vectoring... anyway! I really like your wall, i don't mind simple walls especially if someone has taken the time to vector a scan, there's alot more effort then, colours are great and compostion is also great. there's only one thing, one small thing, whats up with the white rectangle, i mean... it would have been cool to see something in that space, like text or some brush work or even another vector or scan. ok ok... i don't mean to bring you down dude, i really like your wall thats why i'm gonna fav it after i've finished typing this, maybe you can keep it mind for next time or whatever.
Cool vector and nice idea, its like a posstcard and stuff where ya can write: Greetings from Soul Society, in the center square and all XP the colours are nice. The small tv lines/grungeness over it i dont really like but thats also mostly cous im a straight fan and not very much into grunge overlay..
Anyhows great job keep it up and love to see more
Nnooo that's so mean to remind me that winter is almost here...evil enders321! >_<
nice work. i like the texture, it makes the wall more soft and gives the illusion of there being more on the wall than there is. great job with the "simplistic" style, it looks nice.
vector isn't too bad, the lines could be a bit smoother. ever try duplicating the lines layer and putting a guass blur on the bottom layer (0.5-1px)? I find it's a easy way of making the lines look better. really depends on the vector i guess.
great job! :)

Nice vector I would say... but still.. seems like it's too simple for my taste ^_^
I liked the snow cristals you added, and the textures are ok too.
But still I just feel that it's too empty!
Keep up the hard work anyway ^_^
Despite the illusion, the research-paper writing process (as with any writing process) is quasi-linear at best. Follow the green navigation bar on the left from top to bottom to follow the nine major steps in writing a research paper, or if you're working on a particular step, click on that step to jump ahead in the process.
The entire process will require a lot of hard work on your part, but the results will be more than satisfying if you give it your best. In the end, you'll have passed an important "write of passage" <grin> in your academic career and picked up a heap of useful skills along the way.
Though we've laid the process out step by step, the hypertext capability of the Web allows you to rewind and fast-forward at your own ease, pace, and convenience. So for a picture of what the process will really end up being like, see Cleveland State University Writing Center's map of the writing process. Remember that our OWL tutors are around to help you at any stage of the process. Email them with any questions that you may have.
