This is my entry for Cibo's anime wallpaper contest.

Rules:

1. All entries must be made for this contest. No previous works accepted.
2. Please make wallpapers no smaller than 1024x768. Larger is preferred.
3. Entries should be accepted into the AP Gallery prior to submitting to the contest.

The white Totoro

The onigiri is mine! =D

Explanations:

First of all, I have never seen or read Azumanga Daioh so don't expect much, alright? This probably won't make much sense.

• The wallpaper shows a little girl and things she loves, likes, wants or thinks about. Those would be:
1. anime (Totoro),
2. food (onigiri),
3. pets (the cat),
4. cute things (the mokona).

• Every thing is put in slightly different thought bubbles:
1. the bubble's tail with Totoro is made of clovers because it's already holding a plant and it lives in the forest/nature (I think),
2. yes, the onigiri is big, basically because I myself like to eat. The bubbles tale is shaped like two small onigiris (more food?),
3. the cat has a star behind it and the tail of the thought bubble is pointy because the cat has sharp teeth (I heard it bites a lot too),
4. the bubble's tail with Mokona is made of simple circles because both Mokona and the circles are round and cute.

All outlines are colorful because black ones were just sticking out and I hated it.
I think this is one of my rare "happy go lucky" wallpapers :3

Everything was vectored/vexeled/traced using Adobe Illustrator CS2.
