This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

X-O full view please!

ok ... darn am i tired O_O ... the kamui vector took me around ... oh ... 24 hours O_O ... my gosh all the details, all the shadowing, and i had to redraw some of his leg cuz of the stupid binding in the original scan ><. oy, i guess the wallpaper's very abstract, since i didn't know what kind of scenery to put him in O_O ... ah... hahaha ...

the bg idea came from random scribbling they call writing in random cartoons and such XD .. like some random squiggles would be considered words XD so i thought of the possiblity : what if the random squiggles came alive from the book O_o and kamui was controlling them? well ... my mixed up mind .. haha you gotta love it lol.

lol he's sitting on a giant book ... strange i know, but i would get big brownie points from the art teacher hehe XD

well anyhoo, this is part two, the abstract part, of Charlene's gift ^_^

well ... ish tired ...

Very nice, I like how the background really suits Kamui and the color choices also match the mood very well (such as, the dark gray isn't over powering). XD

The first thing I said when I saw this wallpaper was, "Whoa!" That's how stunned I was by the beautiful matching of colours, shapes and character. Everything just matches perfectly, I love this wallpaper.

Very nice indeed...cool design...i admire such a mind...u gotta make for walls with these tribal tattoos as designs...it really suits the character Kamui. Not to mention that you used colours perfectly to incorporate the character with the background...totally cool. get some sleep man totally deserve it. ><

Oh my God what a vector!You really broke my eyes with it,I mean its just perfect,its wonderful,I don't have neough praise for this work,its a masterpiece.So sorry to the others if I seem exagerated but in my eyes this wall is really perfect!I admit it that i haven't seen this series but such good works really make me want to search the whoel net for the manga or the anime!
I just don't know what to say more,I can't judge something that it seems perfect!

0.0 is this a mix up or is there really a kamui of chaos in tsubasa? if there is, i haven't seen that ep yet *can't wait*. if it is a mix up then this wallpaper is supposed to be in X1999 if i am not mistaken (could just be titled X). either way it is adorable and, being a bookworm, i adore the fact that he is resting on a book. *adds to favs*

This wallpaper looks great. Your vectoring looks so neat and clean. I also like the abstract background. It matches well with the scan of Kamui. Good job on the whole wallpaper! Keep it up. ^__~

Great vector, however, when you uploaded to AP, the filesize was likely greater than 1.1mb; AP has an auto-compression script that it runs on files too big for its rules (see the FAQ on wallpapers for hte formula) and so it's been saved at a lower quality here. Still, really great vector (but you might wanna reconsider the font!)

Anyways. the wall on my pc looks really pixelated around the edges. thats the only big problem i see. other than that i like the red line design in the back. the vecotr is very nicely done and kamui looks so hot there XD i love it.
