i decided to do an open modeling session. if you go to art school, you're probably familiar with the concept, but if not, i'll explain. Every friday at my college, we don't have class. Instead, we have studio time, with optional open modeling sessions. basically open modeling sessions is the school hires a model to pose, and you can go in and draw them as you please. it's free, and poses range from 5 seconds to 2 and a half hours. it's required by some professors, but i just like to go because i find it really relaxing. if i could make a living off of figure drawing, i would. but i can't, so animation is my second love
the wall is made completely from scratch outside of the murata scans. the walls, floor, easel, window, and paintings are all made by me. the paintings were done in painter, and the rest of the wall in photoshop. the hand drawing, was drawn by me, and the blue outlines are artist tape holding the paped onto a drawing board.

i'm really busy, so this'll probably be my last wall for a while. maybe the collab i have with metal and the one with semuta...but also maybe not.
if anyone ever says..."yeah, take 3 studio classes for animation! thats a GREAT idea!" shoot them.

Good grief! This is an amazing piece and a bit original attempt here at AP. Don't see this type of wall especially a nude one at that. I'm loving your work with using perspective and lighting quite heavily. By far the lighting is what amazes me most ^_^. Plus its Range Murata! Lol I love his artwork and new artwork I haven't seen from him at that. Very nice piece. Just one thing though ;D.

I'm not a texture fan when its used practically EVERYWHERE. I prefere if texture were used to ACTUALLY make a piece more realistic in terms of floor, wall, skin, cloth, etc texture. Not the samething all over XD. All in all I'm absolutely adoring the piece to bits apart from the texture issue X3. Thank you very much for sharing and taking the time to imagine and create it ^_^. I would love to have a textless version if at all possible. If not no worries. Awesome work.

Well, i loved it all along its conception, and i still love it now that it's finished. Well, to be honest, i prefer the desaturated versdion ahah. Now, this wall is gonna blow all fav records i hope cuz it damns deserves it!!
