Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Wow, it's been a while since i've completed a wall. but at the same time, it hasn't felt like that long. school's just kept me so busy that time's flying like CRAZY, which is really scaring me. but that's another matter for another time.
onwards to the wall!
i started this wall about a month ago, right before school started and i haven't been able to work on it much until now. so now that my first wave of midterms are over, i've finally gotten to finish it!
my initial idea for this wall was to make it centered on one of the quotes from kh, so after i did the base of the design, i tried to fit in the text... but i couldn't get all of that text to look the way i wanted it to. so i scrapped that idea, put in the cool swirls, some hearts, a whole lot of vector mask layers, played around with stuff, and found a fitting font for the name and here iit is! i wanted to go for something kind of monochromatic, but with a little tint of colour, and i liked sora's little crown pendant thingy, so i made it yellow and glowy :3
Great job. I really like the bg, how it is grung-ish but still has the whole kingdom hearts thing going on. Sora looks good too, it's just that the scans from the kingdom hearts manga have always just looked really wierd to me. I also really like the whole glowing crown pendant. Overall, good job, and I know, school has taken alot of my free time too, and I'm only in highschool! Junior year man, it sux. Anyways, good luck with school and with future projects! +fav
The black and white schematic of the walpaper gives it additional dramatic effect, in addition to the already emotional image projected by sora. great work.
This wallpaper has a design that isn't very common anywhere. There's a very dark and hateful type of feel to it, but it creates a lot of interest on the quotes and the pendant on Sora. The theme works out so well. I think the background had a lot of focus put into it and that seems to be a nice effect to the entire piece, too. It just brings everything together and makes a successful overall artwork. Very well made.

desktop icons on the left! The kingdom hearts logo stands out very much in the black and white background
Sora looks like a calm intense here..wth oxymoron? anyway, i like it and the cool swirlies and the hearts and what not on the background look good. Great work!
Love how you made the necklace stick out with the bright color but I think you could make it more intresting and attractive if you also make the keyblade in color. Otherwise great job, the background patter looks really well though out.
Woaooow i have to put this one on my pc desk! its just so gorgeous, and i have to say that i am a big kindom hearts fan so

Awesome wall! Sometimes monochrome is nice and I think you did a great job with it. The swirls and hearts look good and the font is perfect! I love how Sora looks here. The crown pendant is great too. It makes the whole wall so much more interesting to look at. I like that it stands out enough to draw your eye to it but it isn't distracting. Great!
