I really like the background in this wallpaper. The brushes and textures used there look really nice. They also are very smooth, which gives an interesting effect to the characters in the foreground. Also, the scan of the characters looks really good and clean. There aren't any fuzzy or unusual spots that seem obvious at all. Plus, the pose of the two characters makes a nice movement through the whole piece. It creates eye movement throughout the entire piece, which makes a balance between the foreground and background. I think that is a difficult thing to do and you've defienetly made it work. This is defiently a noteworthy composition.
