Basically the woman in the kimono is based from a pic of gong li as hatsumomo from memoirs of a geisha. i just thought i'd use 'different' colors this time x) heehee <3 emoticon

sorry that this thing is crowding your icon space :( and there are a lot of 'mysterious' elements in this wall like the tree, the flower thing attached to the obi, and the green thingy that's wrapped around it. well it's just a sort of sash thingy. arghh i was just trying to be creative and abstract that's why it looks so weird D:

and OMG THE FAN is a disaster @_@;; gomenasai.. other than that i kind like the pattern on the kimono because it's unusual. well, enjoy commenting on this one :D

Memoirs of a geisha, missed the movie but i read arthur golden's original 1997 novel. =] that woman (hatsumomo) was evil. anyway, nice vector, love the kimono. traditional japanese clothing meets pop art xD the fan is kinda funny, since the parts closer to her are kinda jaggy and the others are blurred-looking. is it me? because i find the tree branch kind of unexplained. (and since falling in love for takeshi obata's art for death note, more detail in the hair! though not at all necessary in reality xP) ahaha, but it's nicely done wall. the thumbnail caught my attention. ^^

Liking it and loving it. I love the background design. Vector design was done well, for the most part. You are right about that fan. I can see some slight roughness, but no big deal really. Keep up the good work!! :)

I love her facial expression :) i also like the little details you have on her kimono - the dangly off her obi, as well as the fan. a little boring on the pop-art background side of things, but it all works well together. +favs
