This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Basically the woman in the kimono is based from a pic of gong li as hatsumomo from memoirs of a geisha. i just thought i'd use 'different' colors this time x) heehee
sorry that this thing is crowding your icon space :( and there are a lot of 'mysterious' elements in this wall like the tree, the flower thing attached to the obi, and the green thingy that's wrapped around it. well it's just a sort of sash thingy. arghh i was just trying to be creative and abstract that's why it looks so weird D:
and OMG THE FAN is a disaster @_@;; gomenasai.. other than that i kind like the pattern on the kimono because it's unusual. well, enjoy commenting on this one :D
What can I say? I absolutely love this wall. The colors, the graphic design aspect of it, the vectoring, everything is executed wonderfully. Great job, thanks for such a beautiful wall ;)
Hi!
So beautifull! I'm in love with this wallie!
The colours are excellent (and the kimono's colours are great and match perfectly with the bground colours).
It's also a clean wall and yes, it's very creative!
You've made an excellent work with the vectors! I wish i could do the same! They look gorgeous!
And i like the tree and "the flower detail" xD! I just think it's kinda of weird because the tree seems like if she has...hum...fall on the bacground. Maybe if we could see a little more of it...(sorry! bad english! >.<)
But it's one of my favs!!
From the moment i saw her face i knew who she was...what movie she was in..and the text just confirmed it ;)
your work is better than a pic from the movie..cuz it draws the viewer into the work and lets their minds fill in the rest...
WONDERFULLLLL

Wow this is indeed superb. The colours are so lively and altough you didn't put s so many things on the right side of the background the left side captures all attention, maybe it would have been even better to have something on the right side too still great wall!
Ooo.. I like this O: .. You did a great vector job.. and the colors are awesome XD ... I like this a lot.. it's very unique, and matches your "Pop" theme very nicely..!! ... Personally, I don't know if I would use this type of style, but you did a wonderful job creating it, and I can see some of my friends really liking this wall.. ^o^ .. Keep it up!
