been badgering xeno and gideon to help me look for scans to wall, as usual i wanted something sad...but xeno said "MAKE A CUTE ONE TATE!" since i didnt find a cool sad scan...i chose this image which i already started to extract
this wall is dedicated to xeno...since he likes cute walls -runs-
thanks to gideon for the awesome suggestions on the angle and other things, to boing coz he yelled at me to finish my wall and ridiculed the first version with the wrong angle xD =p

painted the BG and some vectored birdies...no fishies tho xD

Well, not bad... the colour works well in the wall! it's show out the smooth and comfortable feel! and nice texture adding by you! the character is cute too! :) anyway, it's a nice wall! i like it!
Love the way you painted the sea and the beach these way, gives it the artistic look. Good color contrast, I'm sure the icons will popup on this wall because of the soft color used on the background.
..and.. look.. did I see a *big wave* coming towards me? LOL xD -runs-
.____. ZOMG~! XD tate made a wall again XD~! hmz...it's really nice, like how you did the perspective XD but...still it looks kinda...not right....it's just abit .___. the colors looks great really soft, but the scan looks kinda bright =/....ow and...the shadow of the brids...kinda weird...cause water is always moving...so...the shadows should be kinda rippled :o....anyways...it's a real cool wallpaper X3~!

In art, water don??t necessarily always have to move, in this case it seems rather calm. I guess that??s why the reflections weren??t made to look distorted or rippled. In any case, those birds are very far away anyway, tate would have to make those distortions so subtle it wouldn??t be noticeable. Anyway, I really like tis perspective even though its not perfect wit the position of the character. It gives it this unrealistic fantasy like mood which really fits the character. Also nice job wit the small details >xD (more birds needed >xP) and the bench is also cool >=D. Really reminds me of the beach, sitting down and??looking at the horizon waiting for a thunderstorm to finally hit the shore and zap me in the head??.which didn??t happen >_<!
The wall looked like it used watercolors... it's so pretty... wait, is that supposed to be a stream or a river? and is she on a cliff or something? anyway, it's still great!

I have mixed feelings about this wallpaper. While I do like the overall painted background with its soft colours I am not really convinced of the scan you've chosen... In my opinion she just doesn't fit, because she's like wearing an outfit/dress that kinda doesn't go at all with the beach theme lol... her outfit suggest she should be placed in a kitchen not in front of the sea lol. It's weird. On other thing is her hair colour which really clashes with the wonderful background. I mean, this last one has very soft colours then "BAAAM ZOMGTEHPINK" lol o_O. Oh and I think the proportion of the birds are kinda off... they are placed that far yet they are that big? You get that feeling especially cause their shadow on the water is just as big as them and it's not "distorted" by the perspective at all.
Besides those things the wallpaper still looks ok. Oh and nice typo :D

Pink hair and eyes.. that's a killer cute look XD I think the edges on her are a little sharp compared to all the other lines in this wall but it's still practically seamless between character and background.
