This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
My boss's wife is from China and I heard in some cases they could barely understand each other, if at all, between villages... orally anyway, not sure about written.
One of my old projects... finally it finished.
Illustrator, Photoshop...
music? Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades.
"A dog of the military" - this phrase (theme) from the ninth episode...
Trust me - I tried to show very much things in this wallpaper: doubts, uncertainty, insensibility, a deep private world, feeling of a duty, fear, hope... and much more things:)
Though this picture looks very simple now, when it was done.
Anyway - I like how it turned out...
Scary? yeaa... it's good:)
I love this wall! Its awesome how you portray the "tough" side of Eureka and the colors look wicked. Not to mention the mechanical feeling one gets from looking at this wall. Great job!
Wow, It's beautiful wallpaper! I think that this is an advanced vector. And your original idea is added and it is wonderful. A flower, grass, etc. of a background are very nice. It's so great work!
Whenever vectoring is discussed, your name comes to mind. legendary really. lol but your works are always detailed and amazing, with a unique twist to the normal way people vector images. and that twist is what makes your walls great. it'd be easier for me to do what you do with vectoring than pick out anything dislikeable in your work so all that truly needs saying is another fantastic job...though don't vectoring kill your eyes (a bit even)? x_x i'm going to work on my own wall now (a death note one, which just reminds me of your death note wall...which was awesome too xD).
O... *stares in awe* It looks like a dream. Love the details and colors, they're very eye-catching. I'm not sure if I love the text, it's kinda techish for me, but overall it's a definite fav!

Wow eureka looks pretty bad ass. Thats a side of her that you don't really see. I really the background and the texture and it everything just matches pretty well.

You've done it again my friend. Each wall you bring out is amazin and has it's own style and flair to it. As usual, you have rendered me speechless with this BOMB DIGGITY wall. The attention to detail on the eyes and the flowers as well as the soft tones you employ on the character and the flowers. And through this amazing piece of art, you able to convey a lot of emotion (especially through the eyes). This is goin on my desktop, no doubt about it.

Awesome job as always. Seeing it in progress on your userpage and seeing the finished product shows... Love the filter-effects you add to the main vector. Totally awesome.
This seen is beautiful. The shot has dark undertones that are in contrast to the beauty Eureka and the flowerery field. I could almost watch it all day.
