Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Allow me to remind you all that Revisitations is a project to revisit and remake or refine the old wallpapers from years back from me, it has no particular goal or style but has plenty of experimental touch.

The first and original wall was really nothing more inspired, it is totally something I made out of haste, one might notice because of the poor workmanship, and even more so, it was something I certainly felt no desire to make, it was more like impulsive.
I like to take Revisitations as a method of reexploration on what I did before and remake them, that is the reason why this wall here has a different scan and widely differenciates.
Why? Simple, at the time, the Serio wall was made out of impulse, the whole idea was something experimental, the whole thing was a jumble of effects and stuff I threw together, it was unique in its own way, I like to think that I came to pay homage to myself for daring to do what most people consider as planless and clueless. I certainly did not break any new grounds, but I am glad to say as I worked on this, I learned that even in some forms of messiness, I can find some kinda comfort from it.
All in all, a Rozen Maiden wall with no significant planning and idea behind it, it is a wallpaper of many implications, and many ways to see it, call it sucky or think of it as a matter of presentation, call it unclean, the poor scan, the colors weird... it doesn't matter. I appreciate the difference.

ok, so first of all, i love the wall! but when you look closely enough, you can see her pixels ( blocks). i usually don't like that so much, but i adore this scan, so i'll let it go : )
i like the feathering jod you did onher her rough spots ( wingd, head band, ect.)
how many layers is this? it looks like many. also, how did you make the lace on her stalkings to look like that? i love how you changed her skin color to an abstarct neon thingy. what did you do? invert the colors?
( sry, i'm taking a digital arts class at my art school, i'm just curious on how i can expand my works : )

The background is very nice, the conception is interesting, and the colors are really good. The girl is very nice, too, espcially her wings, the black fits her very well. The skull necklace on her looks a bit strange, though, it doesn't fit to her expressions on her face. Anyway, nice wallpaper.

First I saw the pic and found it amazing. Didn't know from which series it came though. Then I see the url stating its from Rozen Maiden. SuiginTou? Amazing. Good job.
The character image are a little blurry, but.. i love dark wings and complex backgrounds! For sure... a great work. Thanks for sharing this one with us ^^.

I like the coloring of it. It's different from some of the things I usually see that are done to walls. As a completely craze Suigintou fangirl, I absolutely love this paper!
