I was looking for Deidara wallpapers everywhere (or any time-skip wallpapers for that matter), but I could hardly find any - let alone any I liked. So, I decided to try and make one myself.
I've been working on this wallpaper for the past few days. I vectored the character in Illustrator, and designed the rest in Photoshop. I wanted something appropriate for him, so I chose an explosion. The 'explosion' in the background came from a stock photo of ink splatters, which I vectored because it wasn't crisp enough for my taste.
Ooh pretty background, very explosive, combines well with soft blue, is pleasant to the eyes n_n but...Deidara, "him"? I've always thought she was a girl xD
Finally, a decent wallpaper of an akatsuki. Bad ass is all I have to say. Are you planning to make any other member's wallpaper? Perhaps Hidan? That guy is crazy -.-
Nice wallpaper, I agree, there are not enough wallpaper of any of the Akatsuki members, which is a damn shame. Really like the job done on the done on deidara and the excellent job on the background. Color and effects match very well with the art style, concept and theme. Colors and font match very well too in my opinion. Good job and keep up the good work, hope to see some more great work from you soon. Definitely going to add this to my favorites for sure as Deidara is one of my favorite characters in the Naruto series, and this wallpaper seem like perfect timing since Deidara has recently been announced as playable in the new game for the very popular Naruto Narutimett series for the PS2. Sweet :D
Great vectoring skills on this wallpaper. The colors work very well together, simple and not too flashy. Hopefully you can do more papers of the other Akatsuki members?
You've captured the "art is a bang" line from Deidara quite well in this wallpaper. I hardly see any member Akatsuki featured in a wall, except for Itachi maybe. So this is a nice change to the usual main character trend (ie. Naruto and Sasuke in everything). I like the color scheme in this wall, although I was expecting to see a lot of red since his specialty is in explosives. I don't really have anything that I dislike except Deidara and the bird could have a little bit more color. Other than that, great wall!
Art is BANG, yeah. XD All I can say is Deidara's awesomely cool and so is your wallpaper. But then, I feel something is missing/lacking but I don't have any idea what is it. Maybe it's just my feeling or something, so nevermind that. :3
