No amazing effects or filters. but i dont really think it needs them sometimes over working can really ruin an image. i wanted to see how minimalist i could make the creation process and still have something good come out of it, i limited myself to two tools, two filters, and five layers (got it down to four). anyway enjoy

because half of you seem to dislike the tileing here's a non tile version

Nice shade of blue and you used a very captivating pictures as well. Although the background is quite simple it matches the image quite perfectly. Your sig is kinda huge though. Very nice wall you got there!

Nice job with the lighting effects- it creates a really nice mood, as if she's trapped inside a room with only random windows in the ceiling. nice colors too! the little square grids don't seem to work too smoothly w/the rest, but still very cool!

I swear, you are almost as lazy as I AM! Colors are good, scan is alright but slightly too faded. The pattern is a little to pixelated and dicital to flow with the scan, the mood is good. Not quite smooth enough...

The dark colors and lighting give this wallpaper a very nice mood. Everything seems so serene and eerie at the same time. I just love the dark feel it has, and the scan of Asuka is real nice, very smooth.

One thing I think that messed up the wallpaper a little was the square grids in the background. They look to gritty and just didn't go with the overall feel the rest wallpaper had. But it wasn't too bad.

Nice wp, definately my style.

This is a very beautiful wallpaper in my opinion. The light blue creates an calming effect; very tranquil and serene. It immediately caught my attention and made me want to have a closer look. Nice job with the filters in creating an smooth texture to the wallpaper. I love how Asuka blends in with the background. But above all, I really love the simplicity! Excellent! Great job, Greeling!

Hmz...I don't really like both of the versions...
the first version: the grainy pattern doesn't look good, it makes the wallpaper looks like those bad quality walls. you need to work on the scan, the blacklines should be removed or you should have it look smooth, now...look at the right hand, the lines aren't even, that makes it looks weird. I think you better remove them, so blending becomes easier. the background is kinda..plain, it just got some clouds. your signature is kinda...on the big size n_nV?...ow well...

the second version: without that pattern, the wallpaper looks bored...looking kinda plain, cause everything else is kinda faded. about the other things...it's the same as the first one.

I like the wall but i wouldnt recomend it for minors. The dress of the girll in the scan is transparent. Nice job on the wall though

I like how the background could SEEM so plain and yey compliment the picture so WELL and the picture itself captures your vision...you just can't look away from it man! i think it's great and i also believe that sometimes simplar is better! A ^^

Even if it's simple, it still looks awesome!! The shade of blue you used is just gorgeous, it matches Asuka and the mood of the wallpaper really nicely! Her dress looks like an umbrella ^^
