This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well, I finally have some prehistoric internet for a little while to upload this one... I'm going to be internetless for about two months... I hope it's accepted. *fears*
I'd like this to be my entry for the vectorness monthly challenge as well. I'm glad the time was extended because fantasy probably has to be my favourite theme. ^^
I hope Seiken Densetsu 3 is liked here... I chose a character which seems to be popular, Lise, and the always cute Flammie. The title comes from the name of the song that plays when you're riding her. ^^U
Favourite part: Flammie's hair around the neck... I want to hug her ^^
Hardest part: Flammie's wing... I had a hard time deciding were to trace the lines since the original image was so small.
Least liked part: The fact that since I have to vector in photoshop because illustrator betrayed me... the outlines look a bit pixelated T_T *hopes it doesn't get rejected because of that*

-Brushes: lunaregina (forgot the url, if it's something like lunaregina.com then I'd feel so dumb)

I apologiza if I submitted this twice, it's my crappy internet's fault T_T
*again, fears a lot*
The colouring is nice on this picture, the detail too. Though you dragonly furry being, the one flying, seems a tad out of porportion. I suppose it's in the back just a bit. As for the girl, her face seems a bit too small for her form and stance. :3 Other than that, the highlighting and tones are quite good. Keep up the good work. ^___^
AHAHAHAHA this is soo cutee *loves!*
My only objection is the sharpness contrast between the charas and the background which is also my common problem when vectoring.
Good luck with the contest, I love it! ^^
OMYGODITSLISE 3 seiken densetsu..flamme is female? you just destroyed my longlife image of him! and oh my god, i hate those monsters in the backgound, they were so annoying..but lets come to the wall..its a nice idea and a idea that fits the game, is the castle in the back rolante? aww..but its a lil bit too blurry i think..and pixelmonster don't fit well with such walls..cause they just got other styles..otherwise..great wall!
I think the way you combined the characters and background dont go well together. The realistic mountains in the back are not only blurry but dont go well at all with the anime characters.
The background looks good, though the comparing the rock, and the environment beyond them... they're looking a bit strange. The characters are looking good, though, nice wallpaper.
haha flammie and lise ah its been so long since i played SD3 last, fun game i recomend people to play it on the emulator^^;
anyway backg to the wall
love what you have done with the two characters placing them in the high mountain regions so that the two can be showed in their places: lise from the mountain kingdom and flammie who is found there in the game
i think this wall is very CUTE and is my fav
well keep up the good work

Oh wow SD3 . . . I never though I would see Riez/Lise in AP, much less Flammie. Anyhow, awesome blending you did there, it really is. There aren't much scans of SD out there and I'm honestly surprised to see a SD wallpaper. Once again, good job.
