Sitting at my desk, twittling my thumbs, and praying that something will magically happen and all my work will be done for the night... Long and drawn out right? :S
This was really really hard, because I wanted to hold the stile of the original scan (found on minitokyo). I wanted to do a wallpaper from this scan for 6 months, but I found it too hard, and I was afraid to start it. I started to work on it 6 weeks ago, and I finished it tonight.
The first thing was the umbrella. It was funny, I made 6 versions, until I was satisfied. After that, I made the left side: the bush, the flowers, the tree, and the background. Then I worked on the the right side: the umbrella (again...I made a few edits for the umbrella, so that it looked like an umbrella), the flowers, and the tree.
I like the results, I hope you like it too.

Very nice. You did a great job in creating a suitable background to the likeness of the scan. Walls like this deserve alot fo attention for all the hard work placed into them. Needless to say, hardwork does nothing without ability. You've got both my friend =)
Aww! So sweet! It's so cute! The girl is adorable and she fits in very well with the rest of the scene! It really does have a "fresh after the rain" feel to it! Must be the soft colors. Good job! Keep up the good work!
...Takehito Harada scans are too awesome for regular wallers like me. But an extraordinary waller like you can pull it off quite well :O The background painting effect looks so good with this scan, it's almost unreal D: The only thing I have a problem with is the sunlight; it looks too angular and straight. If this were a POP!wall, that would be appropriate, but this is too beautiful and scenic for something like that.
Nonetheless... gorgeous. Almost an instant fave from me :O

Sweet work! :D I really like Takehito Harada's style and you did a great job translating that to wallpaper format ^^ I agree with aplastictree on the sunlight, that was probably one of the things that I noticed in thumbnail that made me stop a little bit. In fullview it doesn't look as bad, but it might've been nice if it was a bit less spiky looking.
Still really great job on this again, I like the overall cheerful atmosphere ^^
WOW. that is awesome. GREAT job. I think the bg matches perfectly. It almost looks like a scan, everything blends in so well! I do agree with what aplastictree said though...about the sunlight. But I love the rest of it. I have a feeling this wall is gonna be #1 top rated the next time I get online ^-^

The background is really nice, the the flowers, the trees' leafs, and the sun looks beautiful. The girl looks very nice, too, she fits to the background well. Very good wallpaper!
