As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
This is the image of the ending theme song of Great Teacher Onizuka.
Obviously vectored, hardest part of the wallpaper was making it so the mesh fitted the perspective properly. Took me about 4-5 hours in total. My stock image was really small since I only had a personal screencap of the image since there are no stocks on End themes. I think the Onizuka vector fits the wall fairly well. I wanted to make him a prominent part of the wallpaper so I used a few bvolder colours on him. Sky colour used fitted the idea of daydreaming on the rooftop of the school building. I didnt want to put any clouds in or anything special since I believe this would subtract from the idea of Onizuka having his peace of mind after a long hard teaching day ^_^
Good job on the vector given the source you were working off of. the character cold use a little more work as with small little bits here and there...such as the mesh not extending all the way to the ground in the background. also, possibly a future tip on doing that mesh is: make a mesh seperately at a much larger resolution with no perspective, so looking straight at it. then take a selection of it, and transform>distort/perspective.
Nice use of perspective and good vectoring, clean and simple, there are some people who may not like this style, but for those who like it it's a really good wall!
Wow, I really like the perspective. The atmospehere is very clean and simple. It gives me this refreshing and new taste. You might need to work a little bit on the character. You did a very nice job on the vectoring. =]
I thought da whiteness of da building and blue sky are very well done...and how da character stands on with da orange top...great choice of colours i say! just tat da character seems out of shape...anyway...nice attempt!:)

I like so muck the concept, the colors, but the main problems is that I don't recognize onizuka any more.Maybe you could do it differently, for sure your wall would be better...
Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh! Finally a Great Teacher Onizuka wallpaper. These pictures are very very rare. It is hard to come across any wallpapers of this show good or bad. The texture is pretty nice. I like the scan a lot. The background is pretty cool too. Keep up the good work.
