As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool
Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.
I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node
You have to finish the path to edit it with the node tool. You can finish a path by closing it up or by pressing enter. You can also go back in the path by pressing backspace. I also suggest you to try pressing shift and ctrl while using the Bezier tool^^

Trying to contrast the cruelty of war in the SEED and SEED-Destiny world. Blood painted on using Painter's digital water brush. Also brushes from www.photoshopbrushes.com were used. :D
Not sure if you can tell, but Cagalli's crying in the picture. I tried to highlight the tears...but you can only do so much without making the picture looks weird.
Yeah, pretty bloody out there...
I like the title, and the composition, but I think that it could have been better if you worked a bit more on the scenic background ^^

Anyway, one thing I like 'bout the wallpaper is blood stains on the characters and the floor, looks a bit surreal. However, frankly I don't like the filter(s) use that you applied on the characters. It makes looks grainy and blurry, harder to see Cagalli emotion that you wanna express in the WP. The blood stains on wall looks like it is floating, not blending into wall and spotlight effect.
Kudos effort though.

Hahaha very nice i dont think i care either that shinn is dead in it :) thats my favorite part, i also love how cagalli is holding athrun's hand which is cute but very sad great job :)
Characters = a tad blurry. Text = NooO. No text would've been amazing. The blood splotches are a little vivid against the BG too [not in contrast, but just in color; they're both dark but different tones, so it hurts your eyes o.x;;]
Overall? It's a sweet concept, but the execution needs some work.

Poor Athrun, no!He is too good to die, too wonderful and amazing (I care very much for Athrun, if he dies, things will happen) Poor Kira, he was so awesome! Poor Shinn, he was good despite some of his behavior
Not exactly the kind of wall to get you into the holiday mood but god I think it is really good and I like the how the blood stains look like.

Oh my gawd, why is cagalli in the middle..well it kind of fits..cuz cagalli is kira's sister, she is also athrun's girlfriend..and also the princess of ORB which ORB relates to Shinn. woah..weird..
pretty bloody. yeah, it does kind of look like fan art blue-green. i like it, but i wouldnt favorite it or download it..not in the christmas feeling of downloading a bloody wallpaper and fix it as my computer background, but i will..some day, when i feel like being in a sad crying mood. ^^

A lot of emotions... That's what this wallpaper tells me. The deep mood is really getting through to me. This wallpaper makes a lot of sense and it's the perfect theme for war. The blood is very good and I love the lighting effects done here. The way the characters are positions and the way they're colored and vectored are so awesome. This is pretty good.
