This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Techanacly yes you are. your asking people to go to a web site randomly. your not allowed to do it on the sb. but you can pm someone the site. (dont send it to me)
What? A wall without pretty lights, sparkles, and fancy effects? By me? What's going on here?
Yup. And enjoy it while you can, because this is probably the last wall of this type that I'm going to do for awhile. I made everything in the background from scratch, and making all the books was such a pain >_< This is probably my first wall that features an indoor scene...and I tell ya, making the background wasn't a walk in the park.
Anyways, as you can tell, this is a wall of Haruhi, Yuki, and Mikuru from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. If you don't know what anime that is, you've been living under a rock for the past year and need to go see it as soon as possible. Since there weren't too many nice scenic walls of this trio of characters, I decided to make my own. And here it is.
I pride myself in the detail of my walls, and so I encourage you to full view this wall in all its glory, just like all my other walls. Scan found here. Thanks for the comments ^_^
Books... and Haruhi... ang Yuki... and Mikuru. Mm, nice. :) I can't even imagen how hard it must have been to make the background but it was worth the effort, turned out splendid! Very good job!
All the work you put in the books paid off it looks really good and I like the window with the tree. The extraction is well done and all the lighting and colors fit well good job.
Very nice color mix -- it really sets the tone of the wallpaper (yay for serene wallpapers!) and the extraction was done well. The characters are really fitting into the library setting well. The only thing that bugged me was the text placement. It could have gone somewhere else where it would not attract as much attention? (Just my opinion, no offense). +fav
I can see a lot of effort has put into this wall, especially the detailed background and nicely cleaned scan. Everything blends in and the title "serene sunset" fits with the atmosphere of the wall very well. Good job! +fav
Beautifully done. It's really hard to add anything that hasn't already been said. =) I guess the best way to say how much I like it is that this is what I've got on my computer desktop now. =)
AWESOME WaLlpaper! This goes to my favourites ^^ You really made the scan fit your background. A library in a sunset automish atmosphere. I love it, Sugoi sugoi! That glow you gave the wallpaper makes it even better yet :D :D :D
Haha...though everything is nice, the books looks too same that it looks a bit like a beautiful design of bricks.sorry if you don't like the comment, but overall it is very beautiful and great.will be looking forward to your better walls...keep up the good work!though i feel this is already a very good one.
