This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I love the lanterns in this one - maybe it's because of my mom's candle obsession @@.
To be honest, I didn't really enjoy the series...too long with an abused plot. Only the last three episodes of the first season were worth watching (haven't seen the second season yet).
But overall, I thought Enma Ai was worth walling.
I could've added more photoshop magic, and I did try it for a bit...but then I felt that it was ruining the poise (funny word I know) and gentle yet potentially threatening aesthetic of the wall. So I left it.
What I like from your wall : Enma, lantern, sakura petals, well, I like everything about the wall.
The wall is nicely done. The sky above ( with some starts ), and the reflection.
Really great.

Nice one...
enma is always misterious...
the background is good...
this picture is in the ending of jigoku shoujo right ...?
in this pic enma doesnt look like misterious but more to the scary side...to me...

This is one of my favourite Jigoku wallpapers, it kind of gives the effect that you, yourself is looking down towards the gate. The reflection of Enma is really nice and the lanterns are really realistic.
IT's very nice!!!! I love the sight, it's very romantic and miraculous. The lamps look beautiful! But the girl's kimono is not very beautiful, I think you should change the color and vignettes (they make her old)

Scary Goodness, i L O V E this wall! The reflection in the light and fog work perfectly together, The colors you placed in parts of the water are well done even if there is no red to be reflected still looks like it needs to be there. The Girl...the clothes you made and designed for her are excellent & Her skin, hair,N eye tones are beautify crafted. "4*z" !Thank You! =3

Oh I just simply love this wall! How the lights colour the surroundings and how the night is cast over the girl and everything around, how the fog mystifies the shrine in the background and the overall colourscheme. And it's so clean and comfortable Lovely!
