Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I saw a bit of Samurai Champloo playing in the local anime store, and I was hooked. So I went home and downloaded the eps. This series is AWESOME. This shot of Mugen in the opening struck me as a REALLY good wallpaper...unfortunately, someone had already done it. So I decided to grunge it up. The background is actually a hella filtered up version of a Samurai 7 scan I had originally planned on using for the Vectorness Fantasy wall comp. But meh.
First off, I really like the whole swirly background~ :)
The only thing that is sort of bothering me is the vector of his chin...
It looks a little weird to me >.>
But, other than that, I think it's pretty good :D
Nice colours!!the background design is really nice..reminds me of what i usually draw during my free time.. ^_^ but the background colours are don't stand out too much,this what i think..so,the wall doesn't give me enough awesome-ness.. ^_^;; but still,i like it and good job~
I haven`t seen the series, but I`ve seen this image a lot of times and I tink you`ve used it very well in you wallpaper.
Although I prefer a bit clearer colors, I like the colors in the bg.
And the background is very good in geral. It`s a pretty good wallpaper, I think.
This is some nice stuff you've got. To repeat; the swirly patterns are cool! Besides I think the font is really awesome, grungy and all that, really fits in with the "Hip Hop" theme subtly runs through the show. I think the background is good, it would ruin the whole wall if you put in clearer, stronger colours. Nice wall, new favourite.
First off i have to say that i love this series, i bought every volume that came out after i saw the first episode. very unique. the whole scheme about this anime is just awesome, the music, the storyline, the characters, i love it. as for the wallpaper, i think it looks pretty cool, i like that image of mugen in the beginning theme, the background really goes well with the picture and also with the theme of samurai champloo as well, very nice work.
OH THIS IS NICE! i think that all of my faves are samurai champloo but i beleive this could make an awesome addition to it i dont care what the grade is but i would give it a B+ mugen is awesome i like to scetch around with images from the series that i sometimes find. it reminds me of his Brutal And Egotistical Personality towards every other character in the series all in all a very good Paper Straight to the FAVES! (^_^)
