This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I'd like to say.. Nice work cleaning it up. This scan seems completely off theme from the anime but I like it just cause it looks so warm ^^ Great for a first wallpaper! Good job!
It'S lOVELY IT'S REALLY NEAT how the artist of shakugan no shana makes all kinds of art but it alol looks the same which just makes it pretty, anywho Loving it.
SnS scans with Shana usually tend to be very calm and peaceful, which goes against my initial impressions of her. This scan is cleaned well [mmm, watermelon :3 In winter T^T] and *insert gasp* the text...! almost works. The only thing I really suggest changing is making the text look less... plastered on [brushing over it/playing with filters to make it more cloudlike would be neat].

Wow, that's cleaned up quite nicely. I like the colors overall as well, except for the little bit of purple-ish tint in the upper right. Was that supposed to be like that?

The background is very nice, the colors, the warm outside environment... beautiful. The characters are cute, too, they fit to the background well, though, that thing in Shana's hand seems a bit... weird. :-) The text is nice, good wallpaper.
