While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Okay okay, a certain someone asked me to write something about its "making-of". Here we go:
It isn't a scan but a photo I took at a Anime/Manga convention. I vectored the outlines and drew the bg and worked with some textures. I was thinking about adding some text, but it would've destroyed the atmosphere.
Es hat so eine specielle Ausdruck, ich kann es nicht richtig beschreiben, aber gibt ein wirklich gutes Gefül. :) Die Farben sind auch gut ausgewählt. Meine Meinung nach, das ist eine there besten Wallpapers, was du in letzter Zeit gemacht hast! :) :) :) (Die anderen waren, auch richitg gut, aber mir gefällt diese jetzt am besten :), Tai mag ich auch! The girl looks really kawai, about the wall i love the texture dunno why but this old style texture really interesting me anyway about the background the flowers fits very well with the girl

But i think you should use the chinese textstyle for this wall, the chinese text will increse the point of this wallpaper...i think so...

The background is beautiful, the lights, the sakura blossoms are very nice. The character is beautiful too, she fits to her environment well. The title is very nice, good wallpaper.

Pokemon music really is the most inspirational kind XD [well, second, because Wolf's Rain music will forever >]. This wall has such a good "old" feel about it, and the BG and the scan work well together. Plus, NO TEXT, which avoids unnecessary placement problems >D On a personal note, it's a tad bit dark, but overall, this is a very nicely done wall :3

The character and bg blends so perfect. the texture is certainly fit the style. I was always trying to do something like this. But never got it right.
