This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
"Cage Without A Key" is the name of the Gilgamesh V2 dvd, which I scanned to make a wall with. My first attempt was rather lame, but with an idea given by Iikagen and a good deal of help from dhias in Session Zero, it has improved quite a bit. Nothing fancy, but considering what it looked like to start with, it's quite an improvement.
I like it! The colous are well matched with the character and the idea of looking at her from a keyhole gives the whole wallpaper a different nuance; unique. Great work! :D
Nice funny wallpaper. the idea is good. like the keyhole, but the text doesnt fit well...another colour would be better. the chamber looks weird at the right upper coner =/...but it let the girl have a better and sharp view. not bad.

Wow~~ the very first gilgamesh wallpaper i've ever seen~!! this is really awesome!! i like the way you design it. looking thro the key hole. a very mysterious feeling!! XDD
This wall is pretty interesting; nice concept! I think the keyhole was done fairly well, and I have no complaints about it. The background is what seems to be off in this wall... It looks like a stock photo with too much blur/smart blur? Not so sure, but like Meteorcloud pointed out, the top right seems off as well. The glow around the character isn't needed, and it also shows the signs of some faulty extraction/jaggedness on her right arm.
Overall, nice concept; and I think the wall would be fine without the text.
Wow hot wall xD Awesome concept. I really like how you used a key hole its so unique. I think the key hole should be sharper however. Overall it looks really cool though :D
I really like this one. The keyhole makes it so that you are involved in the picture. Since you are the one looking in, you are a necessary part of the composition. In an abstract way this wall reminds me of a beautiful painting by French painter Manet- "Olympia". I think it's the setting.
The colous are well Nice wallpaper, I like the background colour
I prefer walls without text Beautiful image
nice concept! I think the keyhole was done fairly well
Over all it looks really well though nice job
Great concept, the intimate/boudoir feel really fits the image. Maybe a touch sharper on the keyhole, but I think the blurriness does add to the "eye right up on it" idea.
The concept is one of the best...for sure
but you could place the text better or with different font. It's standing out too much. Maybe you can blend it around the keyhole...as if it's carved in there? just a thought...
anyways...a very unique wall...could have been better but this one alone deserves a fav just with it's concept. nice work

I came out really nice. ^^ I think you should have made the key hole a little more noticable... but not too much. ^^ Everything looks gorgeous. Take care!
...!! A Gilgamesh wall! I really like it; the composition draws my eyes to the center immediately. However, the keyhole seems a little ... shallow? Not quite three dimensional enough. It works at first glance, but I'm still very aware that it's not quite what a real keyhole would look like... although, of course, it's a very good concept.

My brothers and sisters sit under the table, Picking up my bones,
And they bury them under the cold marble stones.
Great work!
