This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I made this during the period of which I didn't have internet access. It's another album-anime mosh-up. While Kalico doesn't approve of the anime I chose, I think it fits well. :P
Half of it was done on Illustrator, the other on Photoshop.
In my opinion, the concept is awesome, but I don't like the flower's fluidacy around its edges, I'd prefer it sunk into the background, or if you wanted it to look like it's above the wall, you should've add some stuff around the flower =3. The "violator" could also do some work in placement/font/shade/etc. It looks abit plain standing in the middle of nowhere _(x x_)
100+ episdoe animes were never really my type and naruto's long, but i have to admit that in my humble opinion, sasuke fits in just fine. the red flower cutout sort of design is great. i'm a fan of parody, especially of album cover parodies, or "album-anime mosh-up" as you call it, so this strikes a cord with me. :D but here i dare venture to say that adding a bit of your own creative imagination (and that came be down right simple, nothing to ruin the nice minimalist feel of this wall) to the cover design instead of being so true to the original could have made this more interesting, not that it isn't right now. anyway, nice work.
Hum, I'm not a big fan of Naruto, but I am a huge fan of Depeche Mode (I have a version of that rose tatooed on my ankle) and I think you did a pretty good job, its really awsome, the rose was traced well and I like how you faded Sasuke in it, cool design.

but how can i like an anime with the most annoying animated character EVER MADE as the MAIN CHARACTER! everytime he talks, i just want to grab his fist and punch him in the face with it till you can't even tell it's him anymore.
Had you used naruto, i prooobably would have hurt you. or at least never sent you a package again with weird crap from whitney.
anyways, i liket he wall, and depeche mode is awesome. It's worth the fav to me, although i'll never use it as a desktop thanks to emo/angsty boy. But the wall is nicely done, and the concept is of course nice as well. It's clear where it came from, and it works.
So metal, as much as i hate naruto, i have to fav it. This will be the second naruto wall i ever faved (the first being that awesome wall by meth-ane)

Wow, nicely done. It has this very original abstract look to it. I didn't realize that there was a picture of Sasuke inside the rose until I downloaded the full version. Love the simplicity. Amazing work so far.
The conception is odd, but interesting, the background seems a bit empty, though, the dark colors are looking good. The flower fits there well, nice wallpaper.
Whoa! Sasuke's face is just a mast of blood. And the expression on his face is just scary, but it's also very good. That's just the kind of action you can expect to see in the show: Action, Fighting, and a whole lot of bloodshed. Great job.
