While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Hmm. it's interesting that you decided to use your fanart. it's a very original idea. however, the gundams in the background look very out of place. i find myself asking, why they need to be there. it kind of takes away from the three characters in the foreground. i think you should have either not added the gundams or made them more distinct. but great idea using your art. good job!

The blending from light to dark is a good idea and it makes Kira look 'good' and Shinn 'evil'.
Hey you draw really good!! For a moment I thought you were using scans, well xept Stellar, her hair looks a bit flappy. I think you have a great way of illustrating things, it's really good to be taking ideas from the Seed Destiny's lense flaring effects^^ and the cockpit's blending in well too^^
What drew me into viewing this wallpaper was that I thought from first sight, that it was a Kira X Stellar X Shinn thingy, my fav coupling^^ but your last paragraph let me down >.<
Just think peeps should come up with imaginative ideas like you do, then it attracts more peep's attention, the nu ideas, not just taking scans and editing them the way they are already now. Cuz then it's just showing what skills of effects the software can produce, not some work that reflects the artist's skills^^ I knoe this is really hard graphix and I can't even make more than a siggy or avvie and actually failed trying to donate scans -__-;; which just destroyed my dream of downloading scans from this site *sigh* in the blink of an eye...I ended up with this big negative paper number, *sigh* just my luck and my fault too...sorry, I'm getting off topic.

This wallpaper is not only exceptional in terms of scan, resoulution detail, geometry, etc.
Where this wallpaper truly becomes unique is your grasp/view on the fight between Kira and Shinn, regardless of mobile suits being piloted by the individuals, or which fight. Most of the time when Kira and Shinn fight, it's safe to say they are in the current state you have expressed them in above, with SEEDs broken. Shinn naturally looks more berserk than the compossed Kira (although Kira looks like he did in ep35 before shinn [Spoiler] =p).
Very original take on combat between the two. Great work.
