Nice concept trigun is still a must-see-anime for me so i cant say very much about it just that i know it sort of :P furthermore im a huge fan of sid meier and sin city, i also cant wait for his new project movie: 300! of the sparta army and stuff.
I like the wall very much it catches the sin city vibe very good you just forgot 1 tiny thing imo and that is that sin city is fully black and white except for stuff like red ore bright yellow. So spike shouldnt be colourd ore just his hair ore/and coat :P still doesnt take away that i like this wall and am adding it as a fav.
and maybe you could try in the future when youre using rain is try to create also the look that rain is hittin the person by a small foggy stuff around it ore sompt. dont forget that rain is 3d and not flat on just 1 place like a temp rainshower.. hard to explain whut im tryin to tell :P
