Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I have always wanted to make myself a Gundam wallpaper and the Strike seems a pretty apt subject for my wall. The image I got from MT. I had to do a little cleaning and some minor re-cg repair. I was very much restricted on my wall size due to the size of the scan. I used a stock photo for my background with some brushwork and filters. The sky I painted on a separate layer then blended onto the background. I think that all I have for this wall. Comments and tips always greatly appreciated.
The extraction of the scan is kind of iffy and the buildings look a bit too real. I don't know, I'd like it a little less blurry. Those were the bad things. Now the good things; the sky is beautiful, I love the color. I also like the white "lines" across the wallpaper, it shows motion. Overally, it's pretty good. Keep up the good work. ^^
Wonderful .. great job .. i always want to create wallpapers with both mechs and buildings, great job in fusing everything together, but i think you can add a little text to the top rite hand corner, it looks a little empty now ..

Amazing, the colors really bring it out, and the nice smooth feel to it. I think the city should of been more real, instead of all blurred out, then it'll be very nice, maybe stick some little ZAFT pods flying down? lol But wow, it looksawesome.
Well, just great! you did a great job on the background... and the colour are really works out in this wall! but the background is a little bit blurry... so make it clearer... and i really like the backgound, especially the sunset that behind the wall... anyway, still is a nice work! :)

Very colorful. it seems that freedom is going to a dreamland. I wished you didn't make the same effect as your background effect to freedom picture. It would make it more realistic. overall, I like your creativity and nice wallpaper
Really colourfully made, it's pretty and stunning...very nice, yes but I wouldn't recommend this one for a wallpaper on one's desktop you know >>< It hurts peeps eyes. Other than that, I think it looks great^^ Keep it up!

Wow, love the colours all round, they mesh really well together. The wind I think it is? effect looks cool as well. The city looks great, not too real but still retains some realism mixed with a comic type look. Nice work! :)
I like this wall cause it has a real background not just a solid color. i have seen that scan before but with this background the scan is given life and more emohasis on action
