This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Yayness, internet. I hope this uploads well. I won't have stable internet until february.
The original images are a couple of screenshots from the ending with the song "Motherland", so that's where I got the title.
This one had around 900 layers, I hope it's good enough. It took a while to finish because I have lots of things to do but it's finally ready. I know it's a pretty basic idea, but I just can't get enough of Winry-and-her-dog moments. That ending is just full of those.
My favourite part is, of course, the dog. I had a hard time making Winry's eyes, I made them at least ten times because I couldn't do it right... I think it looks good now. *fears*
Wow! I love the way Winry looks. The vector job is very nicely done. The whole wall is very beautiful. I also love the wood grain for the floor. And Den looks so cute as well. Your hard work paid off. Great Job all around! :)
Wow. reely cool wall i reely like it it matshes with my desktop
and` its one of my favourate wallpapers
exslient job keep it up & im reely lokin forword for your next work(^_^)
Hmm.. it's great. But the outline of the image looks kinda out of place. But I really love the softness that you use for the shadows. Just the outlining and it's a perfect wall. ^^
Great Job!! XD XD You vector it nicely. I like everything about your wall :)
I like the girl, the dog, oh... how cute > < Well done, Congrats, Astrologica.
And what's that?? 900 layers?? You are really great!!
Warm Regards, Yuki

The vectoring is superb;
The only thing that doesn't connect IMO is the blurred bg (aka floor). It contrasts with the chars and makes it look non-suitable...
Overall it is a really good job and a hard work;

Very pretty this “Wallpaper” of the Winny and the dog with the mechanical arm that I at the moment do not remember to the name of it ^^ rsrsrs, the image was pretty, the quality and the colors are a prominence the very good part…
I like your ideas for this wallpaper, but the colors of Winry and her dog are a little two soft. I realize that doesn't quite make sense, but it's very obvious from looking at it that the images are vectored. The art of Full Metal Alchemist is a little rougher with not quite such soft shadows. Other than that, this is a great wallpaper.
The background looks very nice, the floor, and its colors are really good. The characters are nice, too, they look good, lying there together. A short text would look good, anyway, nice wallpaper.
