Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Yayness, internet. I hope this uploads well. I won't have stable internet until february.
The original images are a couple of screenshots from the ending with the song "Motherland", so that's where I got the title.
This one had around 900 layers, I hope it's good enough. It took a while to finish because I have lots of things to do but it's finally ready. I know it's a pretty basic idea, but I just can't get enough of Winry-and-her-dog moments. That ending is just full of those.
My favourite part is, of course, the dog. I had a hard time making Winry's eyes, I made them at least ten times because I couldn't do it right... I think it looks good now. *fears*
Wow! I love the way Winry looks. The vector job is very nicely done. The whole wall is very beautiful. I also love the wood grain for the floor. And Den looks so cute as well. Your hard work paid off. Great Job all around!
Clever that you changed the costume she wears in this scene, it must have taken so long, but it works this way. A very cute wallpaper, Winry looks perfect.
Wow! Winry looks so cute and pretty. You did a good job on the vector, looks very clean. The wood grain in the background looks good too. I think it would have been a good idea to add some textures in the background, I mean the wood. ^__^
Reely cool wall i reely like it it matshes with my desktop
and` its one of my favourate wallpapers
but the colors of Winry and her dog are a little two soft. I realize that doesn't quite make sense, but it's very obvious from looking at it that the images are vectored. The art of Full Metal Alchemist is a little rougher with not quite such soft shadows
Nice wallpaper always loved this picture from fullmetal alchemist. background matches very well with the art concept and theme. Good job and keep up the excellent work up! Hope to see some more great wallpapers from you soon. Going to add this wallpaper to my favorites because I'm a huge fan of full metal alchemist! :D
A well made wall. Winry looks amazing. The way she's looking up at you from the floor has a very inviting appeal. Attractive in a cute fashion.
The only problem is the floor. It looks separated from everything else as if they were floating above the ground and not ontop of it.
Either way, very nicely done. If you were to revise it, work on the floor so that it all flows and possibly lighten it a shade. Possibly a little less "vector look" might do it for the dog.
A scene from one of my all time fave ED song from FMA. I like the vector, but there's something odd about the skin tone for me. Oh well, that's probably just me.
