This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well, this i my first wallpaper to submit to Animepaper. I'm new at this so i dont think i've mastered artistic style or placement yet, but i thought i did a pretty good job on the colors. (took me forever...^_^) well anyways, big thank you to Child-of-the-Desert for all the help and tips given. And thanks to grayserg for vector and tips. Really, you all were a great help! Anyways, I went for a liquid color look, trying to get lots of different colors to blend together (like a bunch of olors pourd into a river) and Eureka sees herself with Renton in this river. I don't know i like stained glass pictures, and water, and decided to go for it. Tips and suggestions for my next one would be great, and any critiques would be greatly appreciated.

umm, i think that is everything. I'll upload other sizes later i guess. (hope i did the ubmission right this time! ^_^, thanks everyone!)
Well with the colors you did very good job, I like them a lot. I´m not sure about the characters in the bg, maybe one would be enough, now there is too much of them, but maybe you wanted it like this since they are memories right?
Anyway good job with colors though.
I think that you don't really need all the scans in the background. The wallpaper seems a bit too busy this way.
Still, I like the colors and effects on the background and your work on the scan in the foreground.
Keep up the hard work!
The color and the background effect seems a bit over,
the scan seems original is quite colorful already,
I feel a bit dizzy when all the thing comes together, and her skin seems a bit too white..
anyway, good try
Wow, thanks for the comments everyone. I didnt expect so many so quickly. (for awhile, i didnt think it was going to make it...) I didnt expect to get such positive feedback ^_^. awesome. Thanks for the suggestions too. yeah, i sorta thought that the faces were the weakest part about the wall. I'll keep that in mind for my next one.
I think you did an awesome job for your first wall.
I love the colors!
Also the way you blended the bg pictures together are great.
I like the picture of Eureka.
Overall great wall! Full of life.
