Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Man, I swear, this one colossus took so much effort and came close to causing an ulcer within me. I've been meaning to make a SoC wall, but I didn't have the skills when I first beat the game, and lately I haven't had much time to just sit, listen to some clint mansell and vector away something epic looking. Im convinced I was some sort of canine in another life, I can't see color in anything I make; whenever I picture a piece in my head, its always in black and white..even my dreams have nothing more than small hints of color. Im gonna try and make a little series of black and white SoC walls, just cuz I can. B-|

Well, I have you know just by looking at what you have done on this wall so far is awesome. Now paint this in your mind; what if you were to do it for an entire background?!! That would be the shit!! I would get on my knees and bow down to you, but it has to be the same amount of detail and precision as you have here right now.

MK I'll have you know I always look forward to your walls. And you have yet to let me down. This wall is simple, yet elegant. Fantastic job with the detail, the only small thing I could "complain" about is that the clouds don't look as three-dimensional as the rest of the wall. Still, this is a wonderful wall and an instant favorite. You're definitely a master at the angle of simplicity.

Hey i agree with gat, it's been awhile since you've done a bg, most are just solid colors...with how much your technique has changed, i would be interested to see it full out and less simplistic.
but this is still nice, but a bg would make it more interesting(?) i guess.
Awesome! Since I'm a big Colossus fan myself, this wallpaper just has to be a favorite. I love how you kept so much detail in it; and the black and white tone really hits the uneasy and often depressing feelings you get when playing the game (and I'm not talking about the frustration when you just can't figure out how to beat a certain colossus...). Great job!
That's sweet :3 I haven't played the game *gets shot* but I can still appreciate the pain-staking details in it. Monochromaticism = 3 always, so +fave for me. The only thing that's bothering me is the fact that there seems to be a bigger space between the L and the second O in Colossus :\ But otherwise, excellent.
Oh yeah another minimalistic wall by MinstrelKnight. And awesome job again. I love the details, I never thought I would say tis but: What a wonderful plain wall =) My only point is to the clouds, they don´t fit the rest very well, but it´s nothing serious. I´m looking forward to that black-and-white series.

There's not much I can say but the one thing I've noticed, and it's been mentioned before as well in previous comments, the clouds don't really blend in with the rest of the wall...like it's more 2D. It would have been nice if you included a bg as well.

Love it. Sometimes I feel like simplicity is harder to pull off than complexity, and black and white is hard to do right as well. You've done both here! The touch of color is very nice, too. Fav!
