This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

After seeing the awesome scan posted by starsabres, I was instantly inspired, lol.
The overall project took maybe 3-4 hours, not including scan cleaning. I think that the best thing about the wall is the colors used in it. The background is composed of various pics/scans of skies and buildings. I also did some smudging to make some clouds look smoother.

The background is made really nicely and the white glow around the character is made really nicely, which gives it an epic feel. Really nice especially when viewed in full. ^^

The aliens are finally taking over the world. I love the effects and the lighting. The-out-of-this-world glow that's around the school looks so cool and pretty. I love the jaw-dropping feeling that it gives off. Thanks for the cool treat.
