This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
kinda different from my usual style. its a simple one. :P
nothing much to it. i've had this scan for a while cuz i like it, but i finally got around to doing something with it~~ it's SPIRAL! :D i think that the two of them look so good together, hehe.
i used stock from here credit and thanks!

I haven't heard of this anime/game/manga - whatever it might be, but your wall has already made me want to find out what's it's about. I really like the scan you used here and you really fit the background in quite nicely. Matches their hair. Hehe.
Pretty. I like what you did with the backrgound. And i think the Spiral characters really suit the background. Everything comes together nicely. The tone and brightness is quite well adjusted. My only problem with this wall is the 'Suiri no Kizuna' text. I think the font doesn't quite go with this somewhat serious wallpaper. But overall, good job. ;)
Wow it's such a relaxing wallpaper.
And what I really like is that all the things are focused at the right side of the wallpaper and that the left side is just blank... but not boring blank, the tiny things you added made it a perfect desctop icon place spot =D
Yay! Sprial! And manga spiral nonetheless! Anyhoo, very interesting use of stock! The color scheme is really great, and the foreground scan and background photo blend really really nicely. And smooth move on the zig-zag-ish way of cutting off the background photo. The little extra detail splotches to the left are really nice too. A great wall for anyone with lots of icons (not me, but plenty of other people I'm sure).
I've yet to see spiral but after seeing this wallpaper I'm certainly inclined to. It's a rather relaxed wall paper and i enjoy the warm yellow's and browns against the white. It's very well done.
That's not a stock photo. Stock photos in deviantart are in the STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY section. This is a very masterfully taken architecture shot, and recieved a daily deviation nontheless. Stock photos are ones the artist gives permission to use in a work of art. This is not. Regardless, you implemented it well. It looks a bit blurry but surprisingly it manages to still look good.

Very nicely done, I like the white space left on the left side. it makes the wall seem less crowded.
