This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Great, now im going psycho... it may be possible ive been spending a few hours searching for a scan that i think i saw but truly never existed... it was all in my head =.=;
XD don't say it's simple ... I've been working on it for a long time , especially on the characters from the initial scan { the way Misuzu looks in there scares me @_@ so I used this to make it prettier } ... please point out any flaws, if you can, I wanna make it look as good as possible, thanks

I actually really really like this! It's goregous, soft, and just plain pretty. I adore the soft watercolor feel to it; it seems slightly rustic or something. The feeling I get of this wallpaper is just of a calm, cool, slightly breezy day in the fields of the countryside. The only thing I have an aversion to is the small text above The Border Between the Earth and Sky - it doesn't blend in well like the text below it. I fell it should blend in a bit more because it looks a bit garrish - maybe a bit more softer or a lower opacity. Hope this helps and I super like this wallpaper. Keep making more like it!
Impressive wall! the background and the characters blend in so well and i really like the watercolour / pastel effects. Like one of the comments above, i think it'll be great if the small text on top of the wall can blend in slightly more. Nvr the less, good job +fav! :3
Simple? Oh holy toledo, this wall is FAAAAAAAR from simple. Anyone that dare say it's simple deserves to have great wrath brought down upon them. A absolutely gorgeous background and a simply flawlessly done scenery. The scan is cute too and placement is perfect. I guess my only complaint is the text in the bg. I dunno..Maybe it's cause I'm more of a textless person, but it just doesn't really fit that well at all in the bg. At least to me anyways.
Otherwise? I absolutely love this wall. Absolutely. Favorite for me even with the text.
Well, as ususal, your walls always have excellent composition and style. As for flaws, the one thing that you definitely can fix is the extraction on the hair. The hair looks fine the first time I looked at it, but when I looked again I could kinda see parts that looked like it gave you trouble. That being said though, i'm pretty sure if you stare at it long enough you'll notice too. Just don't stare too long and get cross eyed XD
But other than that, I really like the clouds and the ground. The whole washed out/textured look also makes it that much better. +fav for composition :)
This is not simple at all! I totally love this. I love how you took two different scans into one! Thats awesome! The scan of Misuzu is very pretty. She looks so different! I love the colors and the background. I like the clouds as well. Everything is great! Awesome job, and keep up the work! Ill add to my favorites, and download! ^___^
I did have a look to the 2 pictures you did use and my, you did really a stunning job, i do not know lot on the anime, but still you have done a stunning and really wonderful job, keep it up!
I really love AIR! really like the way you express misuzu there! it looks simple, but i know it is not behind the scene. I like the way you make the wall like a painting. and the sky! it looks lovely! i really like it! really fits in the wall with misuzu and the other chars.^^ But i would like it more if only misuzu is there.LOL (im selfish). really nice work there! another addition to my favorites!^^
I have to agree with MK about those lines.. they aren't too bad, its just the dark green borders that bother me. A little more work and you could have made them more seamless. Actually if you just took away the dark green borders it'd be a lot better! I really love what you did with the characters, the washed out look with selective coloring. Did you just do selective desaturation and manual color overlays? I'd like to know more about that technique. XD
I usually only comment on wallpapers where i know the character but your wall just looks so eye pleasing that it makes me wish i watched the anime. i guess im just in a soft mood but the colors and textures really appeal to me. awesome job!
The background is nice, though, it's still empty. The characters are looking nice, too, but they could look much better, maybe from a different scan. The title doesn't fit well either. The layout of the characters make the background looks it's simple, and empty, because there aren't many objects. The title would suggest something else as conception. Anyway, nice wallpaper.
Da-yum, having the original pics up against the wall really makes the work in the wall stand out >.O;;
