This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I dont have much time so I'll used my handy list.
1. Load L stock for power-trace on Corel Draw.
2. Extract lineart, you could download L lineart on my deviantart scrap page.
3. Grayscale
4. Colors, highlight,shade & add some weird stroke on the left hand (hide the cutout).
5. Doodle, draw the sun (i love my sketchy sun drawing),clouds (3 cloud haa) and flock of birds. (the small black bird near the cloud). the bird is just from random scatter and smudge. If it doesnt look like a bird, gomen. Lastly,do the dot. merge all & load it in my compressor tool.
6. 3 hours later
specs:
medium: coreldraw & photoshop.
fonts: Arial, Ankh (scrub) & Times New Roman.
So cool 2 find a cheerful DN wall! it's cute. love the concept yet da two gray crossing line near L is sort of weird, prob drawing da missing cutout part will do...other than that, it's a refreshing wall!

Speed of dark? Easy; Darkness is always there, the speed of darkness is zero and infinite at the same time. The vision of dark by man is directly proportional to the speed of light.

My first thought was to compliment you on the concentration of chaos centering what is an overall simple wallpaper. Maybe i read your name, unaware of doing it... ^_^
The contrast between the aesthetic lightness of all the imagery and the darkness of the quotes is striking. Also, the sketchy sun and the font you used on the top quote work together perfectly.
