Hi minna :D, long time no see :D
This time is a Shimaru's wall, vectored from the scanlation of cap 331, page 6 :).

Basically i've vectored it with Illustrator and than i've added some color with Photoshop :). It took a long time to do this lol, doing shadows without a sample is difficult for me :D. Anyway the subject is obviusly Shikamaru smoking (Warning spoiler: don't read it if you haven't read the manga and if you only follow the anime :))

I've tried t recreate the mood of Shikamaru in this wall and i think it's a pretty good wall... but i'm the author :D.
I've made a night version and a day version... and an abstract one that i don't like so much :D. Here there are: Night version 1600 Day version 1600 Day version 1280
And here is a zip file that include everything lol :D Zip file
And that's it... sorry, but i don't remember the time i spent on this, i can tell you that this wall took me about 2 weeks, and i don't remember how many layers :D. So... well... hope you like it :)
Gotta say that I prefer the version you submitted to AP. The background is nicely done and I find the colors awesome!
The vector and its coloring is nicely done too!

Me likey. The sunset creates a great atmosphere with the clouds & placing of Shika. Nice colouring & shadows, it really captures Shika.
I really love the night version, dark walls suit my desktop, but the day one doesn't fit the scan.
I think you could've added a horizon or trees, as you can see the clouds go far off & shika isn't very tall.

Hey! That's awesome vectoring! Shikamaru is so cool. >< I like the version of the sunset that you submitted most out of the all the versions. The night one with the forest isn't bad either.
Great concept. I like the way you've made character look. The background matches the scans perfectly. The color are bright and strong. It's really a cool wallpaper.
My favorite wallpaper ive dled in a long time, its a great wallpaper and picture altogether. shikamarus expression is priceless. you can see alot of emotino coming from this. i dont know if it was intended but i bet i brings up things in naruto fans minds who read thte manga of what happened ans how it affected him and how like the sun is setting on shikamaru its very very nice i like aot its my wallpaper right now actually
