As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

This is a Gasaraki wall I started something like two weeks ago...
I don't know anything about the manga so sorry if the style of this wall isn't really the one of the manga...
I did a lot of version for the background.
But I end up with this one at last with the help of some people around here :
- Asa01 and Mellykill as usual devils right behind my back screaming at me I can do better.
- yodaum having troubles with a lot of little details about that wall. ^_^
- And a lot of others...
I have to say I'm pretty surprised that this wall got accepted cause it's kind of an simple stuff... Looks like at least! :)
So technical details :
- Two weeks an a bit more for making it.
- 20 layers for the entire wall.
- 8 layers for the background with the black triangles.
- 8 layers for the reflection on the floor. (ARGL and it's still not perfect like I wanted it!)
It's pretty much a conceptual wall... I wanted to show two people loving the other so much that nothing could brake this love into pieces... The contrary of the broken glass in the background...

Hey zaz! I didn't even see you had submitted this wall, I just happened to see it in the gallery..... you've done a great job on the bg, I still think the logo could use some help. I've noticed a trend in most of your walls, they are all dark and muted colors, I think you should experiment more with colors, it's the only place your walls really lack sometimes.

Yay it's accepted! the logo looks great & matches the dark background. the stars + broken glass looks very nice together. i like the dark colours of the wall but usually walls that portray love at brighter in colour since like it's a happy feeling ( not sure? ) but your wall looks great & it's a nice twist to the norm. good job!

Umm... the texture looks a bit blurry for me - I think it's just me... but I already saw the real texture, and it's definitely really different from yours. You have made it looks really great ^^
I like the reflection =) It's nicely done. I also like the words behind, looks great ^^ But I personally don't like the triangle. Looks a bit weird to me... I would prefer it better if you blur the edge or the triangle a bit so the lines won't look that clear..
Anyway, congrats to you ^^

Mph... I don't like the background... Maybe if you focused more with the reflection, would be more great, maybe reflections arent just to be at the feet.
Great background! I like the mirror floor! Great idea! I like the stars to the sides too! I think they are a great effect! The two characters look very nice too! Nice and sharp! Great wallpaper design! Thanks for sharing. Favorite!
There's not so many Gasaraki walpapers here - not fair I think. Great series with an special mecha-robot and good characters. Moreover - in my memory it was composed from the good literary source - same-name book. So, pretends to some degree of realism. And what the special here - mecha in Gasaraki is Weapon, with special combat abilities, tactical-technical characteristics, own advantages and disadvantages. That's very rare in anime... And some SciFi movies too.
