After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Loleta you were on here last night trying to link from your computer and it didnt work than. Like they said than as well you have to link from photobucket or imageshack.
No, no, you can't put links directly from your folders on your computer. You have to upload your content to a image hosting site like ImageShack or Photobucket. Then provide the link.
I.. think so.. something must be wrong with this link. I was unable to to go to the address my self. Let me try again. But when I put the address in again. Follow these steps: 1. Right click. 2. go to sentence, "Open link in new tab".
A new version with more cloud depth, lighting, butterflies (cause everyone loves butterflies) and birds, a sunset, and hopefully good enough for it not to be removed for "lack of effort."
http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/wallpapers/highlighted/item49741/ inspired me to make this wallpaper, in which I wanted to take a nice mononoke wallpaper and change it so it increases the emotion and feel to the scene (like the other wallpaper added another stock image and create motion blur and fire sparks to give it a more rushed feeling of war and such).
For this wallpaper I used http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Princess-Mononoke/item18951/, however, I wanted to create a more dramatic moment, so I completed changed the time of day by changing the entire coloring of the scan. I decided to paint over all the colors to give it all warm hues, and I also made the mountains smudged with thick brush strokes in order to give it that painting feel to it. I added the sunset and made it a little transparent to give it a more surreal feel to it. I made the grass glow with a golden color, to almost give it a sunset/autumn feel to the scene (along with the bugs in order to made it more naturey and then make them glow to give it a more surreal feel).
Some spots are still a little too blurry, which is my bad for doing that (my intention was not to make the wallpaper this blurry).
I also made 3 resolutions for the wallpaper (1920 X1080, 1680 X 1050, and 1600X1200 in letterbox). Hopefully this won't get deleted again, because I did try hard on this wallpaper and the color scheme change involved painting over every, as opposed to just using 1 red layer or so.
Wow!! looks great, I love the change you did on bg, the colors on the countains are asewome and the color of the grass looks like fire, I just love this wall, beautiful changes ^^ fav from me
I think you made a pretty good job. The colors are great and they make the scene much better. Tere shouldn't be any problems with it, you made a nice wall out of the scan, so no problem with your effort. *favs*
I wasn't so sure at first about you changing the scene here, but you pulled it off incredibly. I love the sun and all the lighting effects. The colours work together like it was always meant to be. I'm not a fan of letterboxing but it's awesome anyways. I love Ghibli wallpapers. ^_^
Ooo...it's a very nice wallpaper! I love this movie! Hmm...how touching with them both looking at one another and then the shades of red and orange right behind them. makes it more dramatic! very good! i love it! keep up the good work!
I'm glad my observations helped this wallpaper blossom into a quality work. You completely changed the mood of the original work and, I think, improved upon it. Not only did you add more activity to the work, you also put detail into how the change in lighting affected the character models themselves.
By changing the time of day, you did an awesome job increasing the mood. I definitely feel a strong emotion from the wall and you did such a masterful job on it.
I definitely commend your hard work in changing the original image. The only thing that doesn't appeal to me is the text and it's position. However, that is only a minor blemish.
Oh my goodness! It makes me so happy to know that my piece inspired you to make such a wonderful wallpaper! I really like the colors you used in this and while the blur might not have been intentional I think it adds a sort of euphoric aura to the moment that also intensifies the emotions.
On a more nit picky level, I would recommend either removing the sun in the background or changing the shadows of the characters so it fits the scene. Ashitaka and the wolf San is riding on look fine, but San and the wolf to the far left don't really look llike the sunset is occuring behind them. Otherwise it looks very nice! ^^ *applaudes*
Haven't seen so many good Princess Monoke wallpapers.. This is one of the best so far. Very good coloring witch Blends the nature + characters together.
So keep the good work up. And thanks for the upload.
