While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Nice extraction! I like the flowers that you drew on the opposite side to the scan but it seemed like they are a little bit too textured compared to the original flowers of the scan. Really cute anyway! The sunset concept is really nice, and the background is nicely done too! I like the font used, but I would have prefered a textless version ^^

Its alittle blurry and the flowers aare not crisp and clear. The text is too hard to see. Besides those imperfections its adorable and really good. Great job keep up the good work!
Eeek! very cute :] I like how you've done the lighting. But the clouds to me doesn't blend in so well; along with the font, you should've placed it elsewhere. All in all, I still like it :]
This is a really cute wallpaper! I love how warm and happy it feels! I just wish that there were more to the background, because there is just the close up of the leaves and flowers, then, sky. If you had some smaller branches and some land or ocean behind the flowers I think that it would look better. Other than that, this is an awesome wall! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Omigosh! This wallpaper is so cute! I love the cute scan. I especially like the sky, clouds, the sunset, and the flowers on the left. The colors are nice as well. Very orange! This has a nice warm feeling to it. Everything blends in nicely! Just maybe more resolutions and the font should have been placed somewhere else other than the middle. But overall, i think you did great! Keep up the work! ^___^
I like the colors! They are very cute! However, there are a few things to improve:
1 - The text is not placed in a very... elegant... location. I just think that text in the middle of a wallpaper only matches wallpapers where the character is placed right in the middle too. At least I can't remember any other wallpapers that have a character off to the side and text in the middle and look good. Also, the text matches the serenity of the BG but when I look down at the cute character, I don't think it matches.
2 - The lines on the scan doesn't match the no-lined BG. It makes the scan stick out too much from the BG so the wall doesn't feel whole.
3 - The lighting effect that you put on here makes the wallpaper dull (on the right) when it's supposed to be bright. I know you wanted to show the sun setting, but unless she and the flowers are under a huge tree or umbrella or something, they shouldn't be dark, they should have deeper shadows. You would have to make the shades deeper on the original scan.
I also think it would look better if there was a glossy feel to it. Nonetheless, this is a cute wallpaper!
The background is very nice, the sky, the clouds, and the colors are very nice. The character is looking good, too, she fits to the background well. Nice wallpaper.
This is so pretty. Just one suggestion though, you use lighting effects to highlight the flowers on the left. I feel like the focus should be on the girl, yet she's left in relative darkness compared to the flowers.

I had the idea to it after I scanned my mangas of "Legend" to submit the pics here. I saw this cute pic

and thought about a wallpaper.
Well, she looks sleepy in this pic and I thought about the awakening in the morning at the sunset.
The extraction wasn't that hard for the main pic but the other one with the flowers was really tought.
I made the background by myself, added the sun and some lightening effects.
