As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Yep :) should be fun, when I first heard about the contest I was thinking it was taking a full color scan and vectoring it to a gray scale or something which sounds fun too :)

Well the final result should be full color, but the source could pry have their eyes color or something to start with not sure

Not, hard really if you are comfortable in an application that can do vector graphics. For this contest I understand we have to pick a monochrome or black and white scan and then vector it with color, sadly nothing I am currently watching has any scans

It is SO easy. Just pick out the stones, put them on jewelry wire, and add a clasp. Sometimes putting the clasp on can be a bit tricky. I just read a little book on how to do it. I've taken some classes, like making earrings and using free form wire

Well, nice wall! the brushwork by you is just great! and i like the effect that the light coming out and the shadow of the tree! there's also nice texture adding by you! anyway, nice work!

Im not sure why I found this piece so appealing. The emerald tones throughout are a definite plus. I actually dont know what she's lying on, or if she's lying down at all. I actually thought there was a water surface in the wallpaper, but Im not so sure. I love it, its so beautifully vague!

Scan gives me the creeps a lil but other then that great effects and the green colour is nice ^^

First off i love the picture you used.. and secondly, i like how yo uchanged the colors, i like how dark it is. The blurred forest in the bg is something i really like about this wall too. the shadows and highlights are really well done.

I love this wall. It's dark and intriguing and I like how it seems as she's either rising or descending in the water. There's just so much texture everywhere, feels like a living-breathing scene. Beautiful~
