After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Well, after losing my computer (freaking Windows piece of *&$!), I've finally been able to get this wall finished and uploaded.
The image is a fantastic Shana scan that I got from here at AP. The scan ends on either side of Shana's body, so I had to draw her right arm and the right and left sides of her hair by hand. I used this scan as a guide for her hand, the arm I drew myself.
So, I vectored Shana obviously. Then I vectored another Shana scan for her sword, and yet another scan for her necklace. THEN I painted the flames, using yet another Shana scan as a guide, by hand in Photoshop. (I tried making some realistic flames, but it really didn't seem to suit the wall, so I went with the style flames that are in all of the Shana scans.) Then I imported it all into one document in Photoshop and and began lots of blending...and blending...and just for a change of pace some more blending, creating the sky and other such effects. At the end I decided that I didn't want to crowd it with text; sorry for all you text lovers out there.
So, I hope you like it. Comments as usual are appreciated!
Anyway, the vectors are very nice, and the stylized flames seem like a better choice than realistic flames. The rest of the background is a little bland, but thats okay! Nice job!
WoNdeRfUl reCG, I know just how hard those can be, and I hate to do them myself.
only two problems I see. 1, You probably could have made the fire a bit more MOE.
and 2, the hair on the left side looks just a bit too much/bulky. it was probably intended to have 1 more strand flare out, and only a bit of it should curve back at her body. if you know what I mean. :D
other than that, it looks very nice. veRy sMootH.
The vector looks really well done. I like the stray hairs you added. You also did a good job creating the hand and sword. I like how you blending the background in a way that allowed the flames to pop.

Very nice job combining the the two pieces; it's a really creative way of using the scan, and I love the perspective and bg, but I don't really like how teh sword is almost pure white.
First you shocked me with you Asuka wall awhile back and now this beautiful piece of artwork. Let me say that this is by far the BEST scan of Shana I have EVER seen. I love the way she looks in this scan. So much more mature and she's lost those huge deer eyes. I can't believe you did so much of this by hand. Especially with how much you fixed and added, it's really absolutely stunning and simply shows your skill as a waller. I ESPECIALLY love the flame effects around the blade (which, I will be honest, looks like a sword of light) and the background beautiful as well. The ONLY complaint I have is the necklace doesn't seem to fit that well with the whole bg. It more of seems a little out place, it might just be me, but that's my opinion anyways.
Overall? @~----@ Jeeze Afwells, I JUST changed my desktop today and already I have to change it again XD. Sheer brilliance. I can't think of a better way to describe this masterpiece. A favorite for me.
Everything looks nice, though I'm not really a big fan of how the sword came out and the sword expands too much in my opinion. Pretty good though, keep up the good work.
I think there is a bit too much "fog", and the sword is too bright.
Everything else is a piece of art. I love the way you redrawn the scan, it came out really nice. The whole wall is clean and not too crowded. That is really cool.
I must say, this is one of my favorite shana walls now.

Hmm...very impressive on how you draw the whole picture,
her pose,the flame~but if the sword was a metallic colour it will be very nice i guess thats my choice haha~

The background is good, the sky, and its colors are looking good. The character is looking good too, she fits to the background well, though, her blade is too bright, and a short text'd be nice too. Anyway, good wallpaper.
