This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I've created the town Cicci-polis^-^ Everything is made by me. About 75 layers and almost the half part is vectored, new personal record! It took about 2 days to finish, and it felt like a big mistake sometimes, Im not so used with vectoring so this was a big challenge, even if it looks simple. Hope you like it!
Nice wall! The background is beautiful, but the grass looks slightly weird..(maybe its only me >_>). The bridge and buildings look good, the scan fits in well. Good job. +fav

Anyways, the wall is neat, i do think the grass could be better, might just be me though. I really love how you created your own scene, very creative ;) Im not sure if I like the water, but then it kinda mixes in with the rest of the wall. I love the sky (is a sucker for nice skys :P) Fave.
Cool background i have to say, i've seen that image before but never in such a great background i like the concept of this wallpaper, look simple but that doesn't make it bad, awesome wallpaper
I saw this is SZ and I can tell you've put a ton of effort into making the backgronud for this. But I have quite a few things to point out and hopefully you can improve on your next wall.
First, the reflection of Eyes (the character's name) is kinda off. Since hes on water, the reflection should be distorted. If you're using photoshop, try some of the filters under the filter>distort menu. I think at least 2 of them create a water reflection effect.
The water also needs help. I'm guessing you used a tutorial for this part and it looks kinda oily. I liek how you've created the water reflection on the bottom of the bridge thing.
The grass is one of the hard things to learn but once you get it, it will be no problem. First you should turn off the setting that jitters the foreground and bckgronud colour OR change the forgronud/background colours to the same colour or different shades.
I guess I'll stop here for now. I know I sound harsh but if you keep working at it, you'll become a great waller.

though the moon does not fit in because iot looks too real. maybe if you \colored it the like th others.

I love the town, I find it very charming for some reason. :D The moon and the grass could be done better, though, they don't quite mesh well with the rest of the image. But I really like the concept so I hope you'll do a revised version of this wall.

Actually, the character on the wall is not Eyes, it's Mizushiro Hizumi.

I like the way you built the town, simple just like in a cartoon, the water is kin of … fake but still in good contrast whit the surroundings, the grass should, in my opinion, have been a mix of green and blue otherwise it just gives you that impression of fake.
The sky was just wonderful, too bad it was covered by the buildings but looks good dough.
The moon is just awesome.
