After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Hey guys, I have been in session zero countless times and went away for a bit, I have however been working on a few projects and this one is one that I am quite fond of. I have started Digital Painting, so I spent a few days doing the sketching, coloring and etc. and I here is what I came out with SO FAR.
IT IS NOT DONE! I just want to know if I am going in the right or wrong direction xD. Thanks alot guys.

Well...im not very sure about the wall...forgive me if i sound bad in my comment.
ok the girl needs alot of work. ya her hair, outlines...yup
then the bg looks funny cause the buildings are quite detailed ( like you can see the different levels & the lights ) but the mountains in the back look like they were painted with water colour ink. so to me they kinda of dont match.
and the girl is like floating in the air...not sure what she is doing there...or why she is in that pose. ok but i like the sky! ya the colours blend really well together.
sorry i sound so bad but ya that's how i feel...

Well, your shading and everything is beautiful in your char. but your outlines could use a lot of help. (they were especially noticeable in ver. 2)
I'm also not too fond of the BG, it's almost like it's out of focus.
Mm, it's a good job so far, but this is quite an ambitious wallpaper, and not so easy to complete so it will look right. The biggest problem is the stock photo, for one thing the image quality is not so good, and you will have the problem of making it look as if it where more of an anime setting of course. Try to look for some tutorials to help you with this and don't be afraid to move to a darker lighting scheme on that to match the already set sun, your job would be considerably easier that way. Other than that, I'd say removing the power lines from the mountains was certainly called for. As well, the purple energy at the bottom is too constant, you should very the light more for that. Lastly, the signiture is much too large.
Thanks alot guys! I love comments on my walls, I really do not care if they are Negative because those are the best ones sometimes. Yes, if you read the post I said that the character was not completed yet still alot of grbage that needed to be sorted through and the outlines are already being taken care of. Like I said I just wanted to make sure I was going in the right direction. I also agree with the background I think that a stock was a bad way to go, I was originally planning on painting the city also but that turned out way to crazy. If anyone knows a good way for me to paint a city I would much appreciate it ^-^. Also what the character is doing would make more sense if you have seen the anime. She is knows as the "Flame haired, red eyed Flame haze". So she is supposed to be in an aura of fire almost. and she is going crazy because she has 2 personalities almost. Bad if I need to explain tho so I need to think of how to fix that Mmm Okay well thanks alot guys!.
Thanks guys, I wrote a bigger comment but its not showing for some reason. I deeply appreciate the negative comments lol! They are what you learn from the best. I said that the character isnt completed. Also I agree with the stock city, if anyone knows of a way to digitally paint a city it would be deeply appreciated.
